Chamber Restaurant Week: January 29 – February 5, 2022

Ongoing: Learn how to play Pickleball, the fastest growing sport in the country, with daily clinics and round robins at the Palmetto Dunes Pickleball Center in Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort. Pickleball is a sport that combines the elements of tennis, badminton and ping pong. It is played with oversized ping pong paddles and a softball-sized plastic perforated ball that travels at about one-third the speed of a tennis ball. Courts and equipment available to rent. FEBRUARY IS GULLAH CELEBRATION MONTH!
2022 marks the 26-year history of partnership between the Arts Center and the Gullah community. Taste of Gullah will look a little different this year, but we invite you to come by for food, art and books …
Residents and visitors alike may enjoy some delicious food with Gullah flair! Two phenomenal food trucks will be in the Arts Center parking lot to safely provide delicious food, including Melly Mel’s and Chef B’s Eatz.
Inside the cozy Walter Greer Gallery, browse the Art League of Hilton Head’s annual exhibit and sale of The Arts Ob We People, one of the largest displays of original work by emerging and acclaimed artists representing the life of Gullah people in the Lowcountry.
Also, in the Arts Center, the ticket lobby on Saturday will be the eclectic new and used book selection provided by “An Island Bookshelf!”
